Ich hab das auch grad auf Fb gesehen!! Maaaaann ich freu mich grad so!! Hammer Album-Cover! Auf dem ersten Blick sah es für mich etwas "künstlich" aus, aber nach kurzer Zeit hab ich's geblickt: Es ist einfach nur hammer/heiß doch, gefällt mir richtig gut...und coole Westerngitarre!!

Hmmm... ich mag die spanische Version nicht so. In der englischen spielt sie ein mit ihrer Stimme, geht nach oben, nimmt sich wieder zurück, Sprechgesang, variiert,.... ach ich weiß nicht, kanns nicht erklären. Beim spanischen ist es halt eine schöne durchgezogene nicht variierende Stimme.

I’m so happy that I will soon be sharing my latest album with you all, something I’ve been working on for over two years now. The work on this album has spanned a very eventful time, with many ups and downs but ultimately, the happiest period in my life thus far, including the birth of my son. I’ve explored many different directions, worked with many different people, and written many, many demos before arriving at the finished product I will soon be presenting to you.

When the time came to put a name to this album, I realized that it’s not exactly a thematic album, though love is and always has been one of my main subjects and sources for inspiration. It’s also not necessarily conceptual, as some of my albums have been in the past.

In the end, what I realized is that throughout the course of creating this body of work, I learned a lot about myself. Though I didn’t realize it at the time, all the directions I began exploring in the initial phases of recording were helping to pave a path for me of rediscovery. In the end I realized that I will always be a little bit of everything and I don’t have to choose. I am sometimes extremely sensitive, sometimes upbeat, others dreamy and romantic, and even at times a little melodramatic. (Call it the Caribbean blood.) But always authentic and always sincere.

Most importantly, I am enough. Imperfections and all. So what I am offering you now is just that.

Shakira.
Nothing more. A little bit of rock, a little bit of folk, a little reggae and naturally some dance--but as always, and above all, a lot of heart.

Estoy muy contenta de poder compartir con ustedes mi nuevo disco, un proyecto que vengo desarrollando por casi dos años. El trabajo ha abarcado una de las etapas más memorables de mi vida, con muchos picos y valles, pero al final el tiempo más feliz que he vivido hasta ahora—incluyendo el nacimiento de mi hijo Milan. He explorado muchos caminos, colaborado con mucha gente, y escrito numerosas canciones antes de arribar al producto final que muy pronto estaré presentándoles .

Cuando llegó la hora de buscarle un título a este disco, me encontré con que éste en realidad no es exactamente un disco temático, aunque el amor es y siempre ha sido uno de los motivos principales como fuente de inspiración. Tampoco es un disco conceptual, como algunos de mis otros discos lo han sido.

Al final, me di cuenta de que en el transcurso de crear esta obra, había aprendido mucho de mí misma. Aunque no caí en cuenta en aquel momento, todos los caminos que venía explorando en las fases iniciales de la grabación me llevaron a un destino en el que me redescubrí. A lo largo acepté que siempre seré un poco de todo y no tengo que elegir. Soy a veces extremamente sensible, otras alegre, y en ocasiones soñadora y romántica, y cada tanto un poco melodramática. Sin embargo, y ante todo, lo que soy es siempre sincera.

Entre todo esto tengo suficiente. Con mis defectos y todo lo demás. Así que lo que les ofrezco ahora es justamente eso.

Y nada más . Un poco de rock, un poco de folk, de reggae y por supuesto el baile—pero como siempre y sobretodo, mucho corazón.

Also solange es auf der neuen Platte, UYC und Dont Bother nicht ins Spanische übersetzt werde, find ich alles ok.

Ich denke ihre spanischsprachigen Fans tun das sehr schätzen.

Na ich finds nicht soo schlimm, dass sie Co-Produzenten hat.. zu 90 Prozent wars ja eh immer so, dass sie den Text und die Melodie beigesteuert hat, aber sonst IMMER ein/zwei/drei Leute bei der Musik geholfen haben... von daher

Na komm nach Mannheim mit? Die sagen am Ticketforum es sei immer ausverkauft aber das stimmt gaar nicht. Nie . ich war schon auf paar Konzerten die ausverkauft sein sollten, und dennoch waren mindestens 1000 Karten noch frei (ungefähr)

Shaki und Gerad waren bei Depeche Mode in Barca aufm Konzert. ich glaub die waren da, wo immer die große Kamera mit der Absperrung ist, also relativ mittig in der Halle. Ohh mann, ich war auch bei Depeche Mode in Juni und geh nochmal in 2 Wochen hin; Haaaaaammer!

Also ich den das erste Mal gehört hab fand ich nur ganz ok.

aaaber jetzt nach ca. 20 mal ( ) find ich ihn richtig gut. Vorallem find ichs gut, dass man auch Instrumente hört (viel Bass, Gitarre), und das nicht voll am PC produziert ist. Wie gesagt, find ich Shakiras Stimme passt besser als Rihannas.

Finde den Song auch cool. Der Refrain ist halt sehr ein Ohwurmm, das mag ich voll. und das ist aber auch eigentlich das beste. Ich finde Shaki's Stimme hammer, ich weiß nicht, Rihanna hat da nicht soo mithalten können. Das Musik Video wird hammer geil!!!
